Karuna Shakti Foundation registered in Aug 2023 is committed to support and empower the communities in the area of Child Rights and Child Protection. We believe that every child deserves to grow up in a nurturing and safe environment that enables them to reach their full potential.
Through our collaborations with communities, government mechanisms and stakeholders, we strive to create a protective framework that upholds child rights and dignity.
Theory of Change
We believe with participation and collective efforts of the entire stakeholders (community, duty bearers, children, parents etc.) at community level safe environment could be created for children where they can grow safely and thrive to their fullest potential.
Child Protection & JJ System
Strengthening the implementation of the Juvenile Justice Act by orienting police officers, DCPU staff, and legal stakeholders.
School Career Counselling
Guiding school students on career choices, higher education pathways, and awareness regarding child rights & personal safety.
VLC-PC Community Training
Empowering Village Level Child Protection Committees to monitor, prevent, and report child vulnerability at the grassroots level.
